Material references to confirm
These catalogue labels do not confirm the contents of a currently available sample box or certification for your selected product.
Before requesting material samples: make a confirmation record
First confirm whether samples are currently available for your selected furniture and destination. The page name, photograph and material labels are not confirmation of a free box, its contents or delivery terms. Use this record to ask precise questions before making a material choice; it is not a sample order or a certification statement.
1. Match samples to the selected product and options
Write down the furniture product or configuration and the fabric or finish options you are considering. Ask which samples correspond to those options and whether they are currently available. A material appearing in the catalogue does not establish that a sample can be sent now. Ask for the exact sample identifiers and contents rather than assuming that every displayed material comes together in one box. If an option has changed or no corresponding sample is available, mark that choice pending. Do not substitute a similarly named fabric or finish without confirming which product it represents.
2. Confirm charges and any separate promotion terms
Ask whether there is a sample charge, the currency, and whether packaging, delivery, taxes or other applicable charges are included or separate. Keep confirmed amounts distinct from estimates. An omitted fee is unknown, not zero. Record a zero charge only when it is explicitly confirmed for your request. If a credit or voucher is offered, ask for its current eligibility, expiry and redemption conditions and whether it applies to the furniture you are considering. Do not treat an old promotion or the word free in a page address as an active offer, and do not subtract an unconfirmed credit from your furniture budget.
3. Check the destination and the timing separately
Confirm whether the proposed sample contents can actually be delivered to your destination and which location details are needed for that review. Use an appropriate private channel if an address is required; do not publish it with your record. Ask separately about sample availability, dispatch and transport estimates, and what starts each estimate. Sample timing is not a furniture production or delivery estimate. Record the date of the response and any conditions that could change the answer. If eligibility or timing is unresolved, keep it pending rather than turning a general shipping description into a promise for this request.
4. Compare the sample without assuming a whole-item match
Keep the sample identifier with the product and option it represents. Compare it in the lighting where you intend to use the furniture, noting the observation date and the questions it raises. A screen image or a small sample does not establish an exact match across a full upholstered piece or an entire wood surface. Ask about the applicable material variation, sample batch and how the current furniture option relates to that reference. Follow any supplied handling instructions; do not run destructive, cleaning or exposure tests on a sample and infer a product warranty from the result.
5. Ask for evidence covering the exact material and product
If certification, emissions, safety, wear or care information matters to your choice, ask which documents apply to the selected material and furniture product. Record the document title, issuer, date and the scope it actually covers. A catalogue label is not a substitute for the underlying evidence, and a sample appearance does not prove durability or suitability for children or pets. Keep an unavailable or mismatched document marked pending. Ask for product-specific care instructions before choosing a cleaning method; this record does not prescribe a cleaner, establish a safety rating or confirm a certification.
6. Copy a sample-confirmation record
Product/configuration and options: ____ | Sample identifiers and represented materials: ____ | Current availability and response date: ____ | Confirmed contents: ____ | Destination eligibility, or pending: ____ | Charges and currency: ____ | Included and separate delivery/tax charges: ____ | Any confirmed credit terms and expiry: ____ | Dispatch and transport estimates with start events: ____ | Sample batch and variation questions: ____ | Evidence document title, issuer, date and product/material scope: ____ | Unknown items and who must confirm them: ____. Keep the written response with the record so a later change in option, contents or destination can be reviewed against the same assumptions.
Swatch checkout remains unavailable. Use the existing contact page to ask about the selected product, material options and destination, with the unresolved questions from your record. An enquiry does not confirm receipt, sample allocation, charges or shipment. Keep personal address details off public channels. Ask about current sample options. Read the FAQ.
